When I first downloaded “NetNewsWire”:http://ranchero.com/netnewswire/ and discovered RSS feeds, I subscribed to a lot of sites through “News is Free.”:http://www.newsisfree.com/ News Is Free is a portal site, but more than that it maintains subscription links for news and blogs that can be read through an aggregator such as NetNewsWire. It’s a premium service that costs $20 per year. Lately I find that I don’t have the patience to surf websites. I love being able to scan 400+ headlines at once and then pick and choose what I want to investigate and read further. On most days, just scanning the headlines gives me enough information to know what’s going on in the world and what people are talking about.
