I went searching for information about my chair online because I couldn’t figure out which button adjusted the back. I turned it over and searched for a brand name and model number. I had no idea what I bought, I just sat in chairs at the used office furniture store and purchased the one that I liked the best that was within my price range ($150 or less). It turns out it’s a Global Industries Malaga High Back Chair with Multi Tilt.

I paid $149 for it. Well, if I purchased the chair new it would have been $486!! I did find another site that had it for $404, but still. I rarely find that I’ve stumbled into a good deal. It’s usually the other way, where I spend $300 for something I could have gotten for $79.95 if I knew what I was doing. It’s in perfect shape other than a slight scuff mark on the back and a tiny stain at the edge. Every bar and lever (and there are quite a few of them) work as they are supposed to. It’s also a lime-green color that I’d never actually pick out but I can deal with it. Maybe I’ll get lime green curtains for my office. Or maybe not. ![]()
The hard part is going to be getting out of this wonderful chair to go clean off furniture and get to work in the house as I should be doing.
