We went to Cupertino today. I was half expecting for my iBook to follow the beacon, but no, we had to plot directions on MapPoint.

Someone I’ve “known” online since my days haunting the Mac newsgroups now works for Apple, and we joined him for lunch in the cafeteria. It was very cool to eat my salad surrounded by Apple posters. They have an amazing cafeteria. Afterwards, we walked around the courtyard which was the only place we were allowed to go besides “Caffe Macs” (I think that’s what it was called) We also did a little shopping in the company store. I *love* Apple’s employee badges. Colorful and friendly. If I had to describe the Apple employee culture in a word, it would be “comfortable”.
You know who you are, thanks again. ![]()
