If you receive CD-Rs from a client, check them right away. I got some images FedExed to me a few weeks ago, but I didn’t know what I was supposed to do with them so I put them away in my client file. Now I know what the client needs (luckily it didn’t come with a super-tight deadline) and I put the CD-Rs in my G4 and nothing happened. I heard it trying to read the disc, but nothing mounted. Same with my iBook. I’m going to try and find someone with a PC later to see if it’s a Mac/PC issue or somehow FedEx toasted them.
