Aaron Schwartz asks an interesting question, “What has Bush done for you?” Like Mr. Schwartz, I find it difficult to come up with a quick answer.
Someone posted in the comments about the child tax credit. Yes, we got money back too…but other taxes and fees are higher, services get cut, and generally it costs more to raise children than before. As a parent, I’d rather see education programs and mandates such as IDEA and Leave No Child Behind fully funded than get a tax cut for my kids.
