This morning, Emily was so excited that it was April Fool’s Day and she couldn’t wait to test it out on me…”I don’t like you at all, Mommy. April Fool’s!”
“MezzoBlue”:http://www.mezzoblue.com/archives/covers/apr01-04/ and ["StopDesign":http://www.stopdesign.com/log/2004/04/01/home.html], two of the best-known blog sites for issues around web design and standards flopped style sheets. Cute, and disgusting that they continue to make it look so easy.
But this one could be really good… Mainstream news sites “all”:http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/2004/04/01/gmail/ “over”:http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2004/03/31/financial2001EST0159.DTL “the”:http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/01/technology/01google.html?ex=1396155600&en=5f24efa44269d4ed&ei=5007 place are reporting *seriously* that Google is coming out with “free webmail service”:http://gmail.google.com/ which will provide each user with 1GB of storage. I didn’t think that much of it either way when I saw the articles. Seemed true enough, I guess. Until I read “this blog entry”:http://fury.com/article/1988.php by a Google employee which ends with “I love this time of year…” and is filed in the “HaHa” category. Hmmm….
Update: ["Okay, it's real":http://fury.com/article/1989.php].
