I really want to get back to tweaking my new website redesign. It’s coming along nicely now. The main index is 90% done, and I’ve got a good start on the individual archive page. The hardest part is getting the general look and the major points…what does a link look like, what does a list look like, how does the navigation work. From there is just details.
But I promised myself that I wouldn’t touch that code again until I finish two identity projects I have on my plate. Not logos, but letterhead/envelope & business cards for clients with existing logos. For one the letterhead/envelope is already at the printer and I’m working on the business card (they were down to their last 80 sheets of letterhead so I had to move quickly). There are certain elements that have to be in this 3.5″ x 2″ space and I haven’t found “it” yet. You know, “it”…that moment when a design just works and you know it. I like what I did for them for the letterhead and I’m trying to get it to work as well for the card, too.
