It’s pouring out. I have an hour until I have to pick the kids up from school. We’re running low on milk, I had the last non-fat yogurt this morning. The kids are starting camp next week so I need to stock up on things for their lunch boxes (they bought lunch in school most days). I could be grabbing my umbrella and rushing around the supermarket. But instead, I sat on the couch with my iBook and shopped on “Peapod.”:http://www.peapod.com I don’t use Peapod all the time since I have to try to get the order up to $100 to save on the delivery fee, but when I have a lot of stuff to buy it’s so worth it. I get what I need with far less impulse shopping. There’s also an AvantGo channel and a few weeks ago I shopped while I was sitting next to the pool during the girls’ swimming lesson.
There are only a few brands that the online store doesn’t carry. Even better, I got to shop and watch All My Children at the same time.
