Wow. Holy you-know-what.
I mentioned yesterday that there was an offer on the house. It was low, we countered, they countered back. I didn’t think it would go any further than that. But no. They countered again, and it was much closer to the ballpark. So much so, that in a matter of an hour or so we agreed on a price! Even better, the buyers are pre-approved for the financing and they’ve agreed to a June 20th closing date.
So now we move to the next phase, and our house had been on the market for a grand total of 5 days! A lot can go wrong between now and the contract signing, so I’m not exhaling yet. We’re still showing it “just in case” for backup. I know that there’s nothing that will turn up in the inspection that isn’t already visible to the naked eye.
Seems almost too good to be true. But on the other hand, after all that has happened lately I think we’re due for some really outstanding mojo.
