Thanks, Jack. Original link he sent was here but I posted a more direct route above. It’s such a good story, I’ll even let my disgust at the choice of words in the headline go. Why is it so natural to let a disability define a person?
Anyway, the boy’s mannerisms remind me of Laini…hence the cry part. While she doesn’t have a lot of friends in the traditional sense of the word, her peers are just as protective and nurturing of her. It’s a joy to see. I hope she has many moments like that in High School.
